I first discovered my passion for photography when I got married in 2018. A family friend, who is a photographer, captured our wedding photos, and I was captivated by how they told the story of our day, creating lasting memories to share with family for years to come. This is the magic of photography: it captures moments and freezes time beautifully.

 

Initially, I focused on weddings, but after a few months, I embraced the joy of new-born photoshoots and cake smashes for first birthdays. I found excitement in the creative process of setting up backdrops and adding props. This passion inspired me to enrol in a university course, and I’m grateful for the journey. I have learned various techniques and discovered my interest in still life photography through experimentation. I have now just finished my 3 years of university course.  

 

Nature continually inspires me, revealing intricate details and textures. Recently, I have been drawn to still life photography, which emphasizes the beauty of inanimate objects through composition, lighting, and aesthetics.

 

I primarily use a digital camera and have a deep appreciation for black and white photographs. However, I also recognize the power of colour to evoke emotions and enhance the impact of images. When I photograph, I focus on the details of my subject and strive to capture its textures. I aim to highlight vibrant colours, as I hope to convey feelings of happiness through these hues. I believe that bright colours can elevate the mood of a photograph, transforming moments into timeless art.
